Robert D. Fairey is the President and founder of Trident Construction, providing day-to-day management while remaining actively involved in construction projects. Robbie’s original vision when he began the company over 35 years ago now serves as the foundation of our TeamBuild approach today. Robbie serves on the Board of the Clemson Advancement Foundation, the Roper St. Francis Foundation and the Trident CEO Council, and serves as Chair of Trustees at John Wesley United Methodist Church. He and his wife Diane have two children and are active members of John Wesley United Methodist Church.
John David Griffith is a Vice President and the first partner of Trident Construction. John David embodies our traditions and philosophy of working with the client from concept, design, budget and completion. He’s very active with the Association of General Contractors and serves on its Political Action Committee Advisory Board. John David and his wife Ann Douglas have three children, and their son John Edward is part of the Trident Construction family.
Tim Kennedy is a Vice President and partner since 1999, serving as senior project manager on major initiatives. Tim also oversees special programs including the introduction of new project management software and practices. He’s a past Board Member for the Carolina’s Association of General Contractors and the Summerville YMCA, and is an active member of St. Paul’s Church in Summerville. Tim and his wife Ranai have three children.
Todd Bulwinkle is a Vice President and partner. He began his career at Trident Construction as a College intern, and is now a senior project manager and leader of our TeamSafety program. Todd’s a member of the Carolinas AGC, the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and the AIASC/AGC Clemson University School of Building and Design Collaboration Committee. Todd and his wife Mandy are the proud parents of two daughters.
Chappy McKay is a Vice President and partner, directing business development and managing strategic planning. Chappy provides assistance to our prospects and clients in the earliest stages of project planning. He’s very active with the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce, serving as the Chair of the Developers Council. He’s also a member of the South Carolina Economic Development Association, the Charleston Regional Development Alliance, the SunTrust Advisory Board and St. Michael’s Church. Chappy and his wife Sarah have two children.
